The new Lust mixtape is finally out and in all honesty isn't doing as well as Hudson and I have hoped. Granted this is my least favorite project, I believe it does have one or two hidden gems. The song "Clown" is a gregarious stab out of the normal and features back and forth verses that flow into one another, each ending line building upon the other. And the bonus track "Future Doom" hits home the reality of what it means and feels like to be an independent underground rapper.
But listen for yourself. Each of us strayed from our usual styles to create a sound completely new and different from what either of us is used to. It may not be the brightest spot on our discography, but it still has some shine.
